This was the first instrument I could afford in Patna India.
Next a put in a pick up and turned it into 'bottle neck' guitar

I stated to teach my self this instrument in 1961.
Then I took off the keys and made a pickup.
Then with a smooth handle of a knife I pretended (quite successfully) that it was an electric bottle neck!!
